Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose :As the SVP, General Manager - Qurate, this role is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the QVC and HSN relationships and performance. The role of the General Manager is to effectively grow these portfolios to increase assets/accounts, profitably execute growth initiatives, introduce additional products, lead SYF's cross-functional team, manage assigned resources and enhance the client relationships in order to retain and grow the businessWe're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. You have the option to be remote, and work from home, or come into one of our offices. You may be occasionally requested to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:

Develop and manage strategic action plans to achieve performance targets.

Understand portfolio dynamics to develop, support and implement key business strategies.

Own and drive overall portfolio financial performance as well as key growth metrics.

Lead the cross-functional client team in supporting the client as well as achieving key deliverables.

Understand and deliver key client metrics.

Assess client team performance against goals and take proactive action as needed.

Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with client groups and all key stakeholders.

Become key relationship manager for all client team functions.

Represent SYF's interests in negotiations with the client.

Work closely with client operations teams to develop/implement training initiatives as needed.

Provide leadership to ensure adherence with all external and internal Compliance and Regulatory requirements.

Develop and support all existing client incentives and integrate card performance.

Understand the video streaming and digital business model, unique customer base, and deliver appropriate product solutions.

Assist in development of all performance targets.

Manage weekly and monthly client and corporate reporting.

Support business wide initiatives as needed.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma / GED and 15+ years of leadership experience in the credit card or financial services industries

Minimum 10 years leadership experience in financial services or within industry

Minimum of 7 years' experience in managing private label portfolios at the senior level

Minimum of 5 yrs. negotiation experience

Strong overall knowledge of card business including risk, collections, operations, marketing and finance

Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

Desired Characteristics:

Extensive SYF and/or retail reporting experience

Strong marketing, creative and analytical skills

Ability to influence senior corporate decision makers

Ability to effectively interface and represent SYF at the most senior levels in the client organization

MBA

eCommerce, and Payment Industry experience

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to innovate and find creative solutions to meeting business goals

Proven ability to work independently yet as key member and contributor to a broader team

Grade/Level: 16The salary range for this position is 220,000.00 - 370,000.00 USD Annual. This position is also eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan target of 30% of salary and an Annual Equity target of 30% of salary.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
