AECOM is seeking a creative professional to join our team and help shape innovative designs for streetscapes, highway beautification, and multimodal pathways. Lead High-Profile Transportation Projects: Shape the vision and design of transformative transportation corridors, highway corridors, complete streets, transit facilities, and multimodal networks throughout the Southeast.Influence Project Strategy: Partner with transportation planners, engineers, urban designers, and clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and context-sensitive design solutions.Regional Impact: Help create resilient, aesthetically impactful transportation environments that improve mobility, safety, and quality of life for communities.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead landscape architecture tasks for complex transportation projects from planning through construction administration.Serve as a design lead, providing creative direction and quality oversight for project deliverables.Collaborate directly with clients, transportation agencies, and stakeholders to develop project goals and design solutions.Mentor and guide junior landscape architects, designers, and technical staff.Prepare and review planting plans, hardscape layouts, visual simulations, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.Support project pursuits, proposals, and presentations to transportation agencies and municipal clients.Ensure compliance with applicable DOT standards, environmental regulations, and project requirements.Contribute to business development efforts and help strengthen AECOM's transportation landscape architecture practice.
