How will you power what’s possible?Long DescriptionThe Vice President of ITS Innovation and SAP COE spearheads Southwire’s digital applications, SAP, and MES strategy to enable best-in-class experiences for the company. This person will be responsible for driving the roadmap for ERP, MES, SaaS applications, and e-commerce. The Vice President of ITS Innovation and SAP COE will define, prioritize, and create key metrics & analyses to enable operations, sales, marketing, and customer e-commerce effectiveness, creating a world-class systems backbone to drive all Enterprise operations and commercial activities. He/she will focus on delivering results through a data-driven, problem-solving approach supported by analytics and automation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive the overall SAP technology platform roadmap and strategic vision for the future, ensuring a robust plan to support cross-functional platform solutions and strategy. Responsible for supporting teams in providing best-in-class, modern, highly available, stable, and flexible technology services with cost optimization and cloud automation enabling enterprise executive decision-making. Responsible for developing the IT/OT strategy in Manufacturing, leading the execution, and elevating Manufacturing capabilities within Advaris MES and overall IT/OT applications. Partner with internal customers to understand the objectives associated with a project and to ensure requirements are properly defined and documented. Consult with internal customers (e.g., Brand & Digital leaders) to develop and present analyses that lead to actionable insights. Hands-on ERP and Business systems intelligence expert in a manufacturing and distribution environment. Designs develops, troubleshoots, optimizes system capabilities and processes, and creates complex system reports required by the business while developing super users in each functional area of the business. Leads the business into the most effective and efficient use of the system. Provide focused, business-minded IT leadership, emphasizing IT’s measurable contribution to business success and business metrics (revenue growth, profitability, market share, customer service, expense, etc.). Direct experience with IT planning and budget development management including ITS Capex Spending is required Recruit, motivate, and develop a superior staff as required to fulfill company needs. Build and lead a talented, flexible, responsive world-class systems organization that has a high sense of urgency, is customer-oriented, and exceptionally responsive. Led a team of IT professionals with a diverse set of skills within an agile development environment. Provide direction, prioritization, and coaching with a focus on developing and expanding their skills. Oversee the deployment of company-wide technology standards spanning both applications and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards aimed at maximizing effectiveness and minimizing costs related to the acquisition, implementation, and operation of IT systems. Evaluate, select, and implement new technology needed to support the company, including relevant mobile and imaging technologies.Long DescriptionQualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience outside of IT in business or other functional role(s) desired. Fifteen or more years of hands-on ERP systems development and reporting experience in a distribution/ manufacturing environment, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Experience with MES systems and plant automation solutions. Minimum 7 years of experience leading global SAP transformations and deployments, successful launches of SAP with a leading or key role, and experience with SAP S4 HANA required Five years of experience managing IT service providers, BI, and BW reporting. Experience in the building out of IT teams that can execute quickly and effectively but with big-picture business objectives in mind that align with the vision of senior company management. Ability to strike the right balance of onshore and offshore resources in these teams to maximize company ROI in this function. Strong Mobile Applications Knowledge for business support.
