Our boutique personal injury and medical malpractice firm is hiring a contact attorney. Candidates must have at least two years trial experience. Must be in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. Provisional license not accepted. Personal injury/insurance experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities Include:
Support attorneys and staff with office matters and daily office operations.
Maintaining litigation calendar.
Drafting demand letters, pleadings, and other office correspondence.
Handling hearings, trials, depositions, and other court proceedings.
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have great people skills and ability to work as team player.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Immaculate attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Strong work ethic.
Compensation:
$40/hr - $60/hr BOE.
$100/hr - $175/hr for court appearances.
$5,000.00 Hiring bonus.
15-25 hrs a week as a contractor. Flexible schedule.
This is an independent contractor position.
Associate status with full time hours and benefits will be offered after probationary period.
