Bilingual Clerical Assistant - Marketing (Part-time)

High school graduate or equivalent

Basic knowledge of office procedures

Knowledge of general office procedures and proofreading

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts

Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities

Ability to spot emerging trends

Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing, and search engines

Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Strong writing and copy-editing abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)

Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In)

Effective oral and written communication skills

Effective telephone techniques

Knowledge of office practices, general postal regulations, and procedures

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, and the public

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of office information

Ability to multi-task

Ability to utilize a PC and related hardware and software, including Microsoft Word,

Ability to communicate well using the English language & SPANISH fluently

Ability to lift, move, or transport independently instructional equipment specific to the division

Ability to work flexible hours

Ability to operate and demonstrate all equipment integral to the division

Ability to lift, move, or transport independently up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

The Clerical Assistant (P/R & Marketing) role balances two areas of responsibility: growing social media reach and supporting key marketing programs and all clerical office tasks assigned.

Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Linked In

Monitor and respond to inquiries, comments, and messages across social media platforms

Analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into our social media strategy

Monitor and report on competitors' social media activity and adjust our strategy accordingly

Assist with creation, production, and proofing of newsletter articles, presentations, and related website content

Help with event planning and execution to include taking photos at those events

Undertake other projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent.
