Beacon Hill Associates is assisting our client in securing an experienced Purchaser/Buyer in Medical procurement. Our client is a nationally recognized name in the medical service and has multiple location in Atlanta and the state. This position is for a project lasting several months. The appropriate candidate will have a strong background in buying and procurement in the medical field. After training on site, it will shift into a hybrid position The selected candidate will have strong understanding of the procurement process and supporting technical skills in healthcare. This position is a critical need and being able to work under tight deadlines, having a sense of urgency, follow up and troubleshooting skills, being organized, detailed and accurate will be necessary to provide the support expected. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related fieldProcurement experience in healthcareUnderstand the procurement processCritical and urgent understandingProject managementRequirements: Advanced Excel (Pivots, V-lookups)Workday ERP (Primary)Global Healthcare Exchange EDIStrong communication skill, proven collaborations with groups, teams, departments, External vendorsExcellent math and accounting skills Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesSelected candidate will be required to have proof of full range of vaccinations, not only Covid, or be responsible for obtaining any vaccines or boosters to be considered up to date prior to start.
