Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct field service visits to residential and commercial properties for service calls.
Repair or replace defective parts using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
Collaborate with other tradesmen in construction projects involving HVAC design and installation.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Experience
5 years Proven experience as an HVAC Technician and commercial refrigeration or similar role in the field of service technician work
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations is beneficial.
Experience in appliance repair and property maintenance preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including boilers and air conditioning units.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites, must have transportation and tools
