Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and well-rounded Services Technician to join our team. This full-time position involves performing a broad range of maintenance and repair services, including plumbing, electrical, and general handyman work, primarily within commercial and light industrial settings. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform both scheduled and emergency maintenance on plumbing systems (e.g., water lines, drains, toilets, fixtures).

- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace basic electrical components (e.g., outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers).

- Carry out general handyman duties such as drywall repair, painting, minor carpentry, and furniture assembly.

- Diagnose and resolve building system issues independently and efficiently.

- Interpret and follow blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders.

- Ensure all work performed meets current safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.

- Maintain accurate records of services provided and materials used.

- Respond to service calls promptly, with a professional and customer-focused approach.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance, facility services, or related field.

- Working knowledge of commercial plumbing and electrical systems.

- Proficient in the safe use of tools, equipment, and machinery related to maintenance tasks.

Strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Trade certifications or licenses in plumbing, electrical, or general contracting.

- OSHA certification or safety training is a plus.

- Prior experience in a commercial, retail, or industrial work environment.
