Description We are in search of an Architect / Sr. to join our team remotely. This position is vital in safeguarding our network, which consists of over 20,000 devices. The role requires a proficient understanding of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and network security. You will be tasked with the analysis and enhancement of our security posture, making strategic recommendations, and implementing robust cybersecurity measures. The role is a long-term contract position.Responsibilities: Evaluate and enhance the security posture of our network through expert analysis and strategic recommendations. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect our network from potential threats. Utilize your deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities. Support the Security Operations Team Leads and the Security Operations Manager in meeting operational demands within the Security Operations Center. Maintain a proactive approach towards identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Utilize your strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and network security in your daily responsibilities. Use security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM proficiently to enhance our security measures. Use your excellent analytical skills to assess and address potential security threats with a strategic mindset. Maintain strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, building and maintaining effective relationships within the team. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our network. Requirements Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in workstation support Experience with phone presence and managing vendors Demonstrated understanding and application of security principles Prior experience in consulting roles, preferably within the architectural domain Experience with implementation of architectural projects Proficient in risk management and cyber security Knowledge of network security and firewall technologies Demonstrated experience with ProFile, Logo Design and Mindset Software Proficient in IDS, SOC, and SIEM Tools Experience with project deliverable management Knowledge of IPS and Security Operation Demonstrated analytical skills Familiarity with architectural framework and design principles.
