We are looking for individuals with a range of skills and interest in large-scale clean energy demonstration projects, particularly in renewable systems, carbon capture and removal, hydrogen, and nuclear energy technologies.The Risk Specialist will apply broad management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to guide project teams manage risk and/or to manage the day-to-day operations. The Risk Specialist monitors risk across multiple projects. This individual establishes and maintains technical and reports to show risks of projects to management, prepares procedures and processes for consistent evaluation of Risk across the program and coordinates the review of programmatic risks at the Portfolio and Program Level.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of related experience or a master’s degree plus 5 years of related experience.
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
Clean Energy experience desired but not required.
Remote position on eastern time zone.
Experience in DOE environment is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Work is mostly sedentary in nature but will require periodic standing and walking and lifting. Must have good vision and be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
