Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for guiding operations for the complete product management lifecycle from concept through release and adoption for Oracle’s new CSS platform. This platform will enable customers and partners to access critical Oracle services more effectively in pursuit of cloud-based digital transformation. In addition, the platform will support scaled world-class service delivery by Oracle’s operations, sales, and service delivery teams. The platform will integrate with multiple Oracle service platforms including MyLearn, My Oracle Support, Sales Cloud, and more. The Product/Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, infrastructure engineers, quality assurance engineers, product managers, and business collaborators, throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong project and program management skills, well-rounded technical background, and product development experience with cloud-based technologies with a particular focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle applications. Additionally, the candidate will have a demonstrable legacy of “leading by influence”, a reputation as an exceptional teammate and strong communicator (written and verbal), and a history of leading activities within large-scale projects end-to-end.#LI-VC7ResponsibilitiesAre you an experienced Product /Program Manager with specific experience driving product teams to higher levels of productivity and quality ? Business Acumen: Understand Oracle’s strategic and competitive position and enable deliveryof a product with capabilities that further strategic goals; includes acting as a strategic product/program advisor to senior leadership and other internal team members

Deliver Success: Lead the charge in delivering program success across the full product development lifecycle and driving projects forward within the program; improve efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Metrics and Feedback: Regularly gather and report on project/program metrics, seeking feedback to improve our progress updates; shape the product/program intelligence model, including defining and analyzing metrics that inform the success of the product

Dependency Management: Coordinate and oversee dependencies, collaborating with teams to ensure project success and accelerate milestones

Product/Program Reviews: Conduct regular program/project reviews with leaders, providing status updates and recommending actions for success; integrate measurement and reporting methods to drive product value chain improvements; specify, design, and implement substantive changes to further product management and product development processes.

Collaboration Champion: Foster collaboration at all levels—up, sideways, and down to the project level; organizing interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule, aligned to standards, and within budget; leading matrixed working groups composed of functional peers through the process of bringing product features to market.

Program Assessment: Work closely with stakeholders to determine product lifecycle success and planning for changes to product value-chain, starting with operational effectiveness initiatives.

Innovation Culture: Support the cultivation of a culture of innovation and continuous improvement; identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas, and spearhead working groups necessary to implement development plans for new operational capabilities, services, and processes.

Strategic Execution: Focus on executing our strategy, delivering benefits, and realizing our strategic goals through the design, planning, and delivery of strategic initiatives; taking ownership and accountability over key projects that will fuel the design, development, utilization, and upgrade of the product.

Change Agent: Drive change by promoting business agility, communicating effectively, and institutionalizing a culture of adaptability

Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts within the program, ensuring smooth collaboration

Cross-functional leadership : Partner closely with colleagues and stakeholders to lead, assist, or stay informed about product-related initiatives that have the potential for broad-scale impact; lead multiple product initiatives and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and positioned for success by establishing clear and measurable goals.

Building Relationships: Network with stakeholders to build cross-functional relationships that help shape, define, and execute our strategies and initiatives. Includes supporting the growth and development of a dedicated, diverse, equitable and inclusive team. Build communication channels to deliver information about issues and feedback to all relevant CSS organizational functions

Product /Program Manager Preferred Qualifications

4 years of related experience with a Master’s degree, or equivalent

PMI certification (e.g., PMP, PMI ACP, or PRINCE 2), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, and/or proficiency with Jira Agile are a plus

Knowledge of Oracle cloud infrastructure, business intelligence, and/or other applications.

A robust grasp of the product development life-cycle.

Understanding of the SaaS market in relation to product/program management

Inside Customer or Customer-facing experience within a SaaS environment.

Experience with moving products, processes, and/or programs to increasing levels of maturity and efficiency.

Strong technical background with significant hands-on experience throughout the software development lifecycle

Proficiency in technical concepts and system architecture.

Solid project leadership skills, combined with business acumen, excellent communication skills, and analytical capabilities.

Proven track record to lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail and on-time delivery.

Excellent project management and team management skills.

A passion for collaboration, spending the majority of your time communicating, collaborating, and coordinating cross-functionally.

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

Strong assessment/analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate wants vs. needs and negotiate prioritization effectively

The flexibility to navigate from the big picture to details while managing complex cross-functional projects, often with tight deadlines

The ability to understand complex concepts, solve problems, and present effective business solutions and recommendations objectively

Strong leadership, prioritization, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal, presentation, written)

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.

The capacity to interact with and influence various levels of an organization, both technical and non-technical, demonstrating strong relationship management skills

Experience with building, analyzing and interpreting data to influence collaborator decisions.

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across various lines of business

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
