Key Responsibilities:

Perform radiographic procedures in the Cath Lab, including angiography, fluoroscopy, and cineangiography, under the direction of physicians.

Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, including digital subtraction angiography (DSA) systems and hemodynamic monitoring devices.

Assist physicians during procedures by providing imaging support and monitoring patient vital signs.

Ensure proper documentation of procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Cath Lab operations.

Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control practices to maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution.

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required.

Experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting preferred.

Advanced certification in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred.

Proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment, including digital angiography systems and hemodynamic monitoring devices.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to cardiovascular procedures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and training.
