Job DescriptionRole: Senior Corporate CounselLocation: Preferred location is Northern VA or Kansas CityOracle’s North America Government Sector Team is responsible for providing legal support for a broad range of technology transactions, including complex software license, computer hardware, cloud, and services contracts with Oracle's federal and state government customers and partners; and compliance with applicable laws. We work closely with Oracle executives to draft and negotiate agreements with government customers, and coordinate the efforts of various internal organizations in order to ensure that Oracle contracts align with company policies and applicable law. Our attorneys have instinctively good judgment and impeccable integrity. We are seeking an attorney who can be a strategic legal advisor, and a true dedicated problem-solver.Preferred Qualifications:
Senior Corporate Counsel for dynamic IT legal practice with a focus on government contracts, ideally with at least 8 – 10 years of experience.
Legal work includes negotiation of major and/or non-standard technology contracts, regulatory compliance, and advising business clients on a broad range of legal and compliance issues.
Experience in government and healthcare contracts preferred.
Experience with regulatory issues.

May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.Colorado Pay Range: from $127,600 to $256,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.New York City Pay Range: from $127,600 to $271,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.Washington Pay Range: from $142,600 to $271,100 per annum. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
