This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.What You Will Be Doing: As the Waste and Recycling Specialist Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR), you will drive mutually beneficial business activity for the Waste customers segment / Yancey Bros. Partnership. Including increased uptime and ease / efficiency of utilizing Yancey network and increased utilization of Yancey Bros' Product Support parts and service offerings.Primary Responsibilities:
Perform normal PSSR duties to provide superior product support consultation and uptime solutions via Yancey Bros offerings (grow share).
Create and maintain waste industry relationships with customers in Georgia, out of state contacts, and Caterpillar corporate waste account managers, and other dealers.
Track undercarriage wear and schedule undercarriage in Yancey Bros. shops (to deliver optimal value for Waste Customers and avoid any “past due” situations that would cause Yancey to cover the difference between the normal, scheduled maintenance work with pins/bushings and full replacement costs)
Forecast both in-state and out-of-state rebuild opportunities by working with the customer equipment managers, Yancey Bros. rebuild manager and machine sales representatives
Manage two-way communications with Waste and Recycling Customers field personnel to understand issues, identify solution options, and manage service work needs to maximize uptime of Waste Customers machines. Coordinating service work will include:
Directing shop work to both Waste/Recycling Customers and Yancey Bros. shops and facilitating update communications to key stakeholders (manage the process)
Dispatching field service technicians for both Waste/Recycling Customers and Yancey Bros. and facilitating update communications to key stakeholders
Insuring VisionLink/ProductLink is accurately reporting with correct hours on all machines and dispatch connected assets technicians for both Waste Customers and Yancey Bros as needed to resolve issues
Resolving hydraulic issues with urgency with Yancey Bros. hydraulics receiving “first call” and strong influence toward Yancey Bros supporting the need
Track and communicate status of daily repair needs to both Waste/Recycling Customers and Yancey Bros. stakeholders (to include a daily face to face meeting with Yancey Bros. Austell service manager as necessary)
Serve as point person for parts ordering (new, used, aftermarket, GET etc.) with “first call” and strong influence toward Yancey Bros supporting the need
Review invoices and manage cadence for timely processing
Administer standard processes of Caterpillar or Yancey (e.g. warranty policies, loaner program, proactive goodwill where appropriate etc.)
Conduct quarterly business reviews
Serve as resource to help facilitate potential usage of Yancey Rents to meet Waste and Recycling Customers rental needs in Georgia
Contact CAT dealers in other states to schedule repairs (as needed) for out-of-state jobs when unable to efficiently utilize Yancey Bros. parts and service offerings
Utilize Fleet Maintenance Pro (FMP) software to assist in job tasks
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in the heavy equipment industry. This could include as a Diesel Technician, Sales Representative or Service Coordinator. Prior sales experience would be preferred, along with excellent analytical, organization and communication skills. Education/Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.
Employee may be required to submit to customer security requirements including but not limited to additional background checks, drug tests, and provide additional identification
Must have a valid class C Georgia driver’s license and clean driving history
Physically able to operate equipment as well as climb under and on for inspections
Work in extreme weather conditions, around loud noises and other conditions that will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be used.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
Prior sales experience preferred
