Description This search is being conducted by Steve Spinello.We are in search of a Collections Specialist to join our manufacturing team located in Dalton, Georgia. In this role, you will be the primary contact for our customers, understanding their payment schedules, and ensuring timely collections of our receivables. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining our cash flow cycle and will work closely with our teams to ensure all collection processes and procedures are followed.Responsibilities: Establish and maintain relationships with customers to better understand their payment histories and schedules. Conduct daily interactions with customers to ensure timely collections of receivables. Perform account reconciliations in a timely manner. Collaborate with the Collections Manager/Supervisor in adhering to company processes and procedures regarding collections. Document progress on each account through emails and collection calls. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools to manage and track customer accounts. Apply your skills in Credit, Customer Service, Collections, and Collections - Commercial to ensure effective execution of responsibilities. Monitor Aged Receivables and Post Payments to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Provide excellent customer service and communication to all stakeholders, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.Requirements Applicant must have at least 1 year of experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar position. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge of aged receivables is a plus. Skill in post payments processes is necessary. Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
