This position plays a lead role in the delivery of ServiceNow Implementation projects and driving strategic transformational change of the ServiceNow Platform. The role is responsible for the architecture and drives implementation/integration of the ServiceNow product and Integration with other systems. As well as, responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within the enterprise. Ensures that the solution delivered to business units are engineered in accordance with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards. While this role is primarily focused on architecture and technical leadership, the architect will also spend a portion of their time performing hands‑on development and configuration work to support key initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable contributing directly to build efforts when needed to ensure high‑quality, scalable solutions.

The Specifics.Platform Architecture & StrategyPlatform Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.System Maintenance and Upgrades: Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring compliance, minimal disruption, and optimal performance.Integrations: Lead the design and implementation of integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, and other protocols.As a senior technical member of the team, delivers hands-on configuration, development, and integration services and serves in a delivery assurance capacity for all product deliverables.Maintains deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and constraints.Governance & Best PracticesDocumentation and Governance: Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and governance standards for the platform.Review and approve solution designs to prevent platform sprawl and technical debt.Provides expert-level support and technical mentoring to the implementation team.Works with the Cyber Security Team to build out robust security architecture.Act as the final technical authority for platform decisions.Stakeholder & Leadership EngagementRecognizes, advises, and develops opportunities to leverage ServiceNow as a platform.Provides expert-level support and technical mentoring to the implementation team.Responds to executive requests for information, proposal documents, and product demonstrations.Acts as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at executive briefings/marketing events.
