About the role:
As a Software Engineer II you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.
The ideal candidate is proficient with at least 5 years of experience with at least two higher-level programming languages and knowledge of at least one systems development life cycle model. Understands the products, services, practices, regulations, and operations associated with the assigned line of business. Conducts detailed analyses of all defined systems specifications for changes in systems requirements, business requirements or equipment configurations, and develops all levels of logic flow charts. Has developed and prepared moderately complex computer programs, prepares program test data, tests, and debugs programs.
About the team:
The Transfer Agency Frontend Development team is focused on delivering mission critical applications using state of the art of web technologies. Users of these applications range from internet-based shareholders to internal systems administrators and processors. Team members are required to take ownership of projects and assignments and are empowered to make decisions when creating solutions. Team members are encouraged to actively improve their skill sets using the many FIS resources available to the team.
