Organizational Relationship:This position reports directly to the Maintenance SupervisorShift:Weekend Shift hours are approximately 7:00 AM- 7:30 PM, Friday - Sunday with occasional mandatory OT. Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, electrical and data installation, and reconditioning in compliance with company policies. Duties and Responsibilities: Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc.Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.Ability to interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals and other related documents.Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.Participate in continuous improvement activitiesPerform various hot work tasks.Order supplies and repair items as necessary.Set up and operate equipment being used to make and repair parts. Examples would be a lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.Ability to work at heights of 40-0" or more.Ability to work in tight spaces.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be able to use trade math with drawings & use precision measuring instruments Office PC skills (excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledgeAdvanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD and PLC systemsUnderstanding of spare part inventory processAbility to work independently
