The Foundation Applications Engineer is a consultative engineering role supporting customers by providing technical guidance, developing takeoffs and material quotes, and identifying value engineering opportunities for helical pile and anchor applications on a wide range of foundation projects. This person will work directly with both contractors and design engineers to translate geotechnical data and construction realities into practical, buildable solutions.This position is ideal for an engineer with strong foundation or soils experience and who excels at problem solving, relationship building, and thinking beyond rigid design boundaries.Key responsibilities of the Foundation Applications Engineer include but are not limited to:Provide engineering support and technical guidance to engineers and contractorsPerform take-offs and material quotes for contractorsTrack and follow up on projectsCultivate engagement with the engineering community through involvement in groups and technical committeesCollaborate with sales to proactively identify value engineering opportunities where helical piles/anchors are a viable alternativePrepare material submittal packages for customersIdentify and follow up with potential customers visiting the websitePrioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectationsEngage in continuous learning to become an internal and external subject matter expert
