Learn more at www.westrock.com .Plate Maker - Lithia Springs, GA600 Riverside Parkway, Suite 200Lithia Springs, Georgia, 30122United StatesFlexo Plate MakerThe opportunity:This position is responsible for the production of digital flexographic plates for the printing industry.The ideal candidate will preferably have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant plate making experience in a printing manufacturing environment.How you will impact WestRock Ensure Quality Control of the work within the department. Create flexographic plates. Check and measure final plates to ensure quality and records data. Maintain the pre-press file structure with respect to final plate files. Maintain and order consumables and supplies for the plate room. Monitor and perform basic preventative maintenance on the plate room equipment. Communicate with customer service, art room and production, as required. Share on call with Lead Plate Room Technician. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fraction and decimals. Able to convert fraction to decimal equivalent.
