Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in NEWNAN, Georgia. The selected candidate will be part of an industry that requires high attention to detail and strong administrative skills. In this role, the primary job function will be to provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department, including the processing, analysis, and tracking of various data. Responsibilities: Generate, process, and analyze data used by the Purchasing Department on a regular basis. Maintain and manage databases related to supplier transactions, tooling, and other relevant areas. Prepare and deliver presentations using PowerPoint to communicate key data and findings. Handle Yamaha assets at suppliers, including issuing asset tags, confirming tool completion, and approving tool payments. Draft and send out letters, surveys, and mass notifications to suppliers, and follow up on supplier responses. Generate and manage purchase orders using SAP, create sales orders, and maintain supplier databases. Carry out data entry tasks, file documents, and keep the workspace organized. Plan and coordinate meals for special meetings and other events. Adapt to changing responsibilities based on the needs of the specific job and special projects. Requirements The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar administrative role. Proficiency in Administrative Office skills is essential. The candidate should have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Experience with office management tools and procedures is preferred. The candidate must have strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work are desired. The candidate should have a high level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
