You will collaborate across Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE) engineering teams to craft solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers for connected aircraft. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of talented professionals whose expertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs. You will develop and refine your engineering talents in a team-based culture by working with creative products and technologies. We are looking for a Test Engineer to support a team of test engineers, technicians and associates for testing, environmental testing and fault isolation of several Honeywell test and test equipment programs. Responsibilities include following daily work direction and setting priorities to drive execution of Special Test Equipment (STE) / Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) design teams including formal acceptance and qualification testing at the card level and end item level, and supporting Failure Review Board investigations. The Test Engineer also support test program execution and maintain baseline to scope, cost and schedule.YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance (Secret/Top Secret)
WE VALUE
Minimum 5 years experience in hardware design, test software design, test & integration
Strong ability to plan and execute project sub tasks in order to meet customer specifications
Ability to conduct project status and process presentations for leadership and external customers
Basic computer skills (Visio, Word, Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD is a plus)
Experience with NI LabVIEW and Test Stand is a plus
Familiarity with Honeywell AP-1152 is a plus
Experience with active RF Devices including low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers and limiters a plus
Strong technical background and proficient in the design and use of test equipment
Strong drawing documentation skills
Ability to lead failure investigations
Good oral and written communication skills
