Hogan Construction Group is a fast paced, family owned, mid-sized Commercial General Contractor working in the Southeastern United States. We are seeking an Experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Atlanta Office. Candidates should be energetic, highly motivated individuals who enjoy the challenges of interesting projects while being able to maintain project schedules and profitability.Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager for Commercial Construction projects between $5 Million and $25 Million in value.
Ability to manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and Project Engineers in the day to day tasks of managing construction projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal individuals and external Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions; Procore experience preferred.
Experience using Project Scheduling Software.
Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various states of the construction process.
Duties:
Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.
Read and Interpret Construction Plans and Specifications.
Manage a Team of 3 to 5 Project Managers or Project Engineers that oversee the daily operations of multiple projects simultaneously.
Mentor less experienced Project Management staff on the daily duties required to effectively manage a construction project.
Work with your Team's existing Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to establish long term relationships in order to identify and obtain future project opportunities.
Oversee the Subcontractor and Vendor procurement by supervising the completion of buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance and bonding reviews, etc.
Guide the research and recommendation of resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts and errors.
Manage the Team that processes all Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, Monthly Reports, etc.
Ensure the preparation of timely Owner Billings via the verification of work-in-place quantities/billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers.
Verify the production of accurate monthly cost projections which forecast total estimated costs at completion.
Oversight of the creation and monitoring of Project Schedules and production of progress updates.
Participate in weekly Subcontractor meetings as needed.
Assist your Superintendents in their oversight of QA/QC Standards and Safety Requirements by actively engaging in the Jobsite progression.
Represent Hogan Construction Group at OAC Meetings and ensure the completion of accurate meeting minutes.
Oversee the creation and completion of Punch Lists and Close Out Documents
