The position of Director Business Development based out of our Norcross, GA Location!SummaryThe Director Business Development is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The Business Development Director establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for customers and sales personnel.What You’ll Do
Responsible for maintaining the highest quality sales team possible by continually ensuring the entire team is trained in all products/services provided
Partners with Region leadership to establish strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area
Responsible for achieving specified sales and gross margin goals while increasing market share with existing customers and growing new and active customers
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the sales forecast
Motivate sales team to constantly improve its performance and customer interaction to help further company sales
Strive to identify new business opportunities and new partnering relationships at the executive level
Assist branches and customers with product and technical support. Make joint sales calls on all key, target, and new customers
Provide branches with support in meeting sales plan objectives and reviewing report cards
Identify customer pricing structure and review quotations
Provide customer and Branch Training
Other duties as assigned

High School or GED
Bachelor's degree preferred
8+ years of sales, business development, or related experience
Previous management or supervisory experience required
Experience selling electrical products preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to motivate team to reach assigned sales and performance goals
Ability to cultivate and coordinate internal and external key relationships
Ability to hire, train, cultivate and retain a team of top sales professionals
Must have experience with Windows and Microsoft Office software
