Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Manager, PMO. This position offers a HYBRID work scheduled and is located at our Arden NC Eaton facility or any of the following Eaton locations: Charlotte NC, Morrisville NC, Peachtree City GA, Greenville SC, Columia SC, or Duncan SC. Relocation assistance will ONLY be provided to Arden NC location if you are not located in the areas listed above.The PMO Manager is responsible for portfolio management and the program management function for the Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) division within the Assemblies and Residential Solutions (ARS) business group. PDCA product lines include Medium Voltage Assemblies (MVA), Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA), Medium Voltage Control & Drives (MVC/MVD), and Low Voltage Motor Control Centers (MCC). This person reports to the ARS Director of Program Management. The PMO Manager leads a team of division Program Managers responsible for using Eaton's PROLaunch stage gate process to deliver New Product Introduction (NPI), Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE), Standard Transition Process (STP), and select plant operations projects.The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:In this role:

Manages a team of direct report Program Managers and provides functional oversight for other division resources managing projects.

Reviews PM Work Packages and provides escalation support for Program Managers.

Coordinates division strategic portfolio planning activities including Product Roadmapping and Waterlining.

Drives program management interactions with division staff and functional leaders.

Coordinates NPI portfolio reviews and Decision Gate Committee (DGC) reviews.

Initiates and provides recommendations to division leaders and DGC members for desired outcomes.

Maintains reporting and metrics for program performance; provides updates at division, group, and sector levels as appropriate.

Manages and reports monthly on the division NPI Capital budget.

Contributes functional excellence for Electrical Sector Americas and ARS PMO communities.

Drives the implementation of program management processes at manufacturing sites and product lines.

Performs division PROLaunch self-assessments to establish common themes, best practices, and action plans.

Facilitates Lessons Learned reviews and tracks corrective actions to closure.

Manages select cross-divisional and strategic programs as necessary.

Oversees customer-funded research & development activities; budget accountability.

Contribute to the development of new funding opportunities with Government entities and external customers.

Ensure Government compliance through work processes, providing internal training, and audit support."

Qualifications:Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business related field from an accredited institution.

Minimum 8 years of experience in program and project management methodologies, processes, and tools.

Minimum 5 years of experience in power distribution equipment engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, installation, or maintenance.

Must have PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Must be able to travel up to 25%.

Must be within a 50-mile radius of any of the following Eaton locations: Arden, NC, Charlotte NC, Morrisville NC, Peachtree City GA, Greenville SC, Columbia SC or Duncan SC. Relocation will ONLY be offered to ARDEN NC if you are not located in the areas listed above.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience with new product development (NPD) programs and stage gate processes.

Minimum 2 years of experience managing direct reports.

Minimum 2 years of experience leading a portfolio of projects, including strategic alignment.

Master's degree or MBA.

Agile or scrum certification.
