Location: GAC, Savannah, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
What’s a typical day as a Cabinet Maker I ? You will:
Under direct supervision, fabricate aircraft cabinets and wood-surfaced subassemblies using design and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities include preparing and making furniture, tracking materials, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to related initiatives.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
Must-Have Skills: High School Diploma or GED.
Proficiency in English language.
Computer literate
Flexibility to work any shift.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferences (Experience, Skills):
Experience in wood working, wood finishing, or auto body painting in a technical environment
Completion of Technical Certificate in cabinet making or a youth apprenticeship program
