We hope you consider joining us!Job OverviewSeeking a Director of Revenue Management with pre-opening experience who isn’t afraid to have a creative approach to positioning and selling first of its kind hotel. Demonstrates strong understanding of Marriott systems and ability to be a strategic leader in identifying market trends, maximizing revenue opportunities and gaining a buy-in from all key stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesPre-opening/ Brand transition experience – Ability to set up Marriott systems for a new hotel opening and continue to tweak and communicate strategy changes to drive topline revenue.Ability to have a creative and hands on approach with targeted marketing, mix of business, length of stay controls and pricing strategies to ensure goals are aligned with Annual BudgetPromote and represent the brand through attending industry events. Build/maintain relationships w/OTA Market Managers and ensure best representation on 3rd party web sitesOversee the implementation and utilization of revenue management systems and tools. Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and effective utilization of revenue management software for forecasting, pricing, and revenue analysis.Conduct price elasticity analyses, monitor competitive pricing, and identify opportunities for price adjustments or value-added offerings. Prepare regular reports and presentations on revenue performance, market trends, and pricing effectivenessManage property participation and production through relevant Internet sites and other distribution channels (CRO, GDS, ADS, and Travel Agency Consortiums).Review & analysis of Online Reputation management tool and online marketing analytics.Team Leadership and Development: Set performance expectations, provide coaching and mentorship, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Develop talent and build a high-performing team.Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.Direct Reports Where Applicable: Group Coordinator, Reservations Sales Agents, Inventory Manager or Sales Reporting & System Analyst.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESAll other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.SUPERVISORY DUTIESMay be required to direct and manage associates within applicable hotels.QualificationsEducation/Formal TrainingFour year degree preferred.Experience3-5 years of Revenue Management experience required. Multi-property experience preferred. Pre-opening or brand transition experience is required with comparable market experience to Savannah.
