Your Typical Day:
Sorts and identifies unused products (e.g., footwear, handbags, accessories).
Labels items according to specifications.
Dismantles items and sorts raw materials (e.g., leather, plastic, fabric) by type and color.
Follows proper protocols for each item.
Selects and uses the appropriate tools to cut and optimize recyclability.
Maintains clean, organized workstations.
Documents actions in the system as needed.
Meets productivity standards while ensuring quality results.
Complies with confidentiality requirements.
Supports safety programs and contributes to employee safety.
Completes other related tasks as needed to support retail and organizational goals.
What You’ll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience operating manual and automated equipment.
Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
Quick decision-making skills to assess and route goods appropriately.
Commitment to supporting the mission of the organization.
Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
Independent, collaborative, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable in terms of attendance, confidentiality, and safety.
Comfortable using tablets and IT systems.
Good eyesight and color definition.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Functional reading and writing skills.
Ability to use a hand truck.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Flexible schedule based on operational needs.
Good physical condition and strength.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
Requires good visual acuity for accuracy and detail.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods.
