job detailsWe are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Labor Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position involves heavy lifting, picking and packing, and general warehouse duties. You will be handling drywall and sheetrock materials, so physical stamina and attention to detail are essential. Pick, pack, and prepare drywall and sheetrock materials for shipment according to customer orders.
Safely lift and move materials weighing 50+ pounds regularly throughout the shift.
Operate warehouse equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to stage and transport products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring materials are stored properly.
Inspect materials for defects and report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals.
Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 7lbs
standing for 7 hours at one time
working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
