HTM Group is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily accounting operations for five sister companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities while maintaining compliance with accounting policies. As the Accounting Manager, you’ll work closely with two full-charge bookkeepers who will assist in managing the books. Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
-Accounting Operations Management: Lead daily accounting functions, ensuring timely transaction processing and accurate data management in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
-Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform reconciliations, manage cash flow, and support forecasting activities.
-Compliance: Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain fiscal files and records to support audits.
-System and Process Maintenance: Oversee QBO’s Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, and customer/vendor records, ensuring data integration with related systems like Service Fusion and Red Team.
-Process Improvement & Training: Update accounting procedures, support job costing, and develop training materials to boost accuracy and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in construction or service industries.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Construction Accounting.
-Leadership: Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and support a team effectively.
-Attention to Detail: A commitment to accuracy, with the ability to maintain high standards in financial data integrity.
-Problem-Solving: An innovative thinker who can identify areas for process improvement and create solutions.
