Accounting Clerk - Full Time
Primary Responsibilities: Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors. Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system. Responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day for the hotels.
Essential Duties:
1. Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department.
2. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation issues and discrepancies.
3. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
4. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
5. Balance, correct, and reconcile all department’s accounts and entities within specific procedural parameters to obtain net figures.
6. Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, recording, mailing, and computer data input processing.
7. Verifies credit cards, direct billing, and cash deposits are accurate and balance.
8. Perform general cashier duties.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
