Live-in Opportunity with Discounted Rent
We are offering a unique opportunity for a residential property caretaker to live on our beautiful, brand-new rental property near Volcano National Park. The caretaker / host will enjoy discounted rent (maintenance contribution) at $1,000/month (regularly $1,600/month), with a private, detached living area separate from the vacation rental.
Key Details:
Rent: $1,000 per month (utilities included: electricity, gas, internet)
Host Commitment: No more than 4 hours of work per month
Additional Opportunities: $200 per clean (optional and only when property manager requires it)
Caretaker can work another job, as the duties are limited onsite.
Host Responsibilities:
- Rebooting the internet as needed
- Conducting a pre-arrival walkthrough when the property manager is unavailable
- Assisting with minor onsite duties a few hours per month
- You will not be required to interact with guests often, clean the vacation rental, or perform frequent tasks. This position is perfect for someone with another job, as the responsibilities are minimal.
Optional Duties:
Occasionally, there may be opportunities to assist with cleaning the property for an additional $200 per clean (entirely optional, and based on availability. We have a full-time cleaner who has first option).
