Kanuikapono Public Charter School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten and 5th Grade Teacher to join our ʻohana. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and culturally responsive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of our youngest haumāna. Responsibilities include planning and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons, integrating hands-on and place-based learning, fostering positive classroom management, and working closely with families to support each child’s success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education (required)
Hawaiʻi Teaching License (required)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to student-centered and culturally grounded education
