The role of the afterschool assistant in our preschool program is to provide support to the lead classroom teacher and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Supervise and support children's activities
Work with individual and small groups of children
Assist with snack, playground supervision and special projects
Serves as a positive role model to children
Works cooperatively and collegially with team members
Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
