The Project Manager plans, organizes, and manages scope, schedule, and costs of projects. They foster positive Client relationships and directly interact with clients to negotiate contract terms, define scope, and maintain consistent communication. Project Manager coordinates with the client, subconsultants, and project team. This position is to assist Department of Hawaiian Homelands in Kapolei.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, planning or business administration.
6moths (internships up to 5 years of experience will be considered.
1 plus years of supervisory experience is helpful.
Knowledge of project management principles is preferred.
Able to operate computers using word processing, spreadsheet, and other software as required.
Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to come up with timely and efficient solutions to complex problems and issues.
Ability to lead a team (internal and external) and organize everyone around a common goal.
Able to multitask multiple projects and teams with exceptional organizational skills.
Maintain effective work relationships with agencies and general public.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work outside occasionally in environmental, atmospheric, and sometimes hazardous conditions.
Ability to have close visual acuity.
Ability to work outside with increased noise levels and vibrations.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and conditions that are associated with construction and development projects.
