Skills & Qualifications:Experience in QuickBooks is requiredPrior experience with systems integration and any type of FP&A software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Proficient in the Microsoft office suiteBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.Ten years or more of related experience required.Prior experience or familiarity with construction accountingCertified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred (not required)Description:The corporate controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include interpreting financial data, the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, payroll, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk. Produces the annual budget and forecasts; provide a budget to actual variance analysis to management on a monthly basis. Oversee and manage the offshore/outsourced accounting team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of deliverables. Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance. Provides Profit & Loss reports to management monthly. Evaluate all manual processes and look for automated or technology-based solutions. Formalize a process to close the books within 10 business days after month-end. Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with General Managers; collaborate on solutions to cross-functional business problems. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Works with external auditors and provides needed information for audits.
