This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.OHAI is seeking an experienced SRE practice leader to help the establishment and growth of the Site Reliability Engineering practice within Oracle Health Production Engineering. As an SRE leader, you will be responsible for leading our SRE community and driving initiatives to enhance the reliability of our products and services. You will work closely with product development, product operations, and infrastructure operations to ensure our customers have a quality experience with our products. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement in product reliability, scalability, and performance.This Position’s responsibilities include: Lead distributed SRE community, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to establish SRE capabilities into product operations teams. Work closely with product engineering and operations team to develop new capabilities to improve product availability, scalability, and performance. Identify and drive key improvement initiatives across product teams. Represent technical community as part of the Production Engineering leadership team.ResponsibilitiesKey Requirements/Experience include: Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience Deep knowledge of SRE practices, methodologies, and principles Experience leading and maturing SRE communities or teams Experience modernizing legacy application stacks with SRE principles Developing/operating large scale distributed services and/or applications Working with or supporting production, test, and development environments for large scale user environmentsDisclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range: from $95,600 to $251,600 per annum. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
