Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Site Reliability Engineer 2 maintains, integrates and implements software applications within the organization. The Site Reliability Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Site Reliability Engineer 2 coordinates software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.

Ensures proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction, receives guidance where needed, and follows established guidelines/procedures.

Provides support for HR Systems users, researching and resolving escalated HRMS problems submitted via ticket or email, including unexpected results or process issues; performing scheduled activities and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Assist with self-service and other HR system questions.

Champions process improvement working closely with Benefits, Payroll, Human Resources and other departments. Recommend process and service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes. Ability to document processes and results. Proposes HRIS features and makes sure the software product fulfills company/user's needs.

Provides ad hoc reporting support as requested by the business.

Maintains and improve database and systems resources containing sensitive data. Maintain HRMS system tables.

Trains internal clients on new processes/functionality. Train new/existing system users.

Assists with the testing of new technology investments and system enhancements.

Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.

Associate's degree or equivalent

2+ years of technical experience, or equivalent

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access and Power Point

Ability to thrive through ambiguity, and working with autonomy

Preferred Qualifications

Experience coordinating software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications

Experience with ensuring proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code.

Working knowledge of Human Capital Management System (Workday, Oracle, etc)

Previous experience testing software applications

Demonstrated database manipulation skills, including work with data structures and complex queries
