How You Will Shine:

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager reports to the Rooms Manager, oversees and directs all operations of the Housekeeping Department, promotes and maintains the highest level of Guest and Owner satisfaction through housekeeping excellence, special projects and duties assigned supporting budgetary controls and guidelines.

This role drives the hiring, training, motivating, recognizing, coaching and developing of all Housekeeping associates including Room Attendants, Housepersons, Laundry Attendants, Common Areas Attendants, Dispatch/Rooms Control and Housekeeping Supervisors. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager holds their team accountable to corporate Operational Compliance/Resort Operations standards and expectations, ensures departmental compliance with Loss Prevention and Health & Safety standards and is responsible for inventory, purchasing, ongoing inspections as needed of interior units and exterior common areas to maintain standards.

This role is responsible for assisting, inspecting and supervising the Housekeeping Staff to ensure that all rooms and common areas are cleaned and maintained at the level that meets, or exceeds, company and brand standards.

What You Will Bring:

3 years related housekeeping experience.

2+ years supervisory experience preferred.

1-3 years hospitality customer service experience.

Ability to coach, mentor, train and develop staff.
