Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Package baked goods for sale or catering orders efficiently.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
Must be able to lift 50lb bags & buckets.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is preferred.
Strong skills in pastry making, cake decorating, and food handling are essential.
Familiarity with culinary techniques and the use of kitchen tools including knives is advantageous.
Experience in catering services is a plus but not required.
