This is a new and exciting role for our company. Recently we have expanded our stores and we are looking to bring in new management and create new recipes for our menu. The Executive Chef/Production Manage will organize and oversee the daily operations of Back of House at Kauai Juice Co’s main operations facility. The reason why we labeled it both chef and production manager is because we are mainly a production facility as opposed to a restaurant, so the staff you are overseeing are more focused on production SOPS. While at the same time it is important for you to be highly trained in culinary creation in order to expand our food menu and create the SOPS for your team to implement.
You will be the one to ensure that our Back of House production is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. You will also be the glue that ties together communication and training from our Back of House operations to our Front of House execution to customers. Working closely with our Retail directions and managers and our inventory team. Communication skills and response times are vital to the success of this position.
The overall goal is to expand our current food menu while creating new SOPS needed to execute them properly into all stores. Being a hands on leader with our back of house crew in order for us to seamlessly create quality products along side of developing a positive team. You will be responsible for the success of our Juice and Food Retail Production, as well as all r and d, creation, and execution of our food and juice menu.

COMMUNICATION AND EXECUTION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS
Compensation based on experience and up for negotiation. Starting rate will be at $90,000.
3 weeks paid vacation.

We are also open to this being a 2-3 year long contract position. Helping us develop and execute our full food menu and oversee your team to then hand it off to someone more long term after implementation. If this is the case we can work on a more bonus style structure.
