Position Summary: The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of food, beverage, and bar operations at Anaina Hou Community Park, ensuring excellence in service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and efficiency within the food and beverage department. The manager will work closely with the Head Chef to assist in menu creation, pricing, and inventory management, as well as support campus managers in property rental contracts related to food and beverage services. This role is integral to fostering community engagement through high-quality offerings and collaborative efforts with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
>Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including bar management, ensuring quality service and product standards are met.
>Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Campus Managers to develop innovative menu and drink offerings, ensure competitive pricing strategies, and incorporate seasonal selections to enhance guest experiences.
>Manage inventory, including ordering and tracking of food, beverage, and bar products; ensure all items are stored and handled correctly.
>Oversee procurement of food, beverage, and bar products, including occasional direct purchasing to meet urgent or special needs.
>Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor compliance.
>Implement strategies to reduce waste and cost, while maintaining or improving quality.
>Assist campus managers with the integration of food, beverage, and bar services into property rental contracts.
>Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations, including bar operations.
>Provide joint oversight of back-of-house and bar staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient operation.
>Implement and promote sustainable practices, including local sourcing, eco-friendly packaging, and waste reduction initiatives.
>Oversee the recruitment, training, management, and professional development of a team of 10-15 food and beverage staff, fostering a highly skilled, motivated, and cohesive workforce.
Skills and Qualifications:
>Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in food, beverage, and bar management or a related leadership role.
>Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and bar operations, including inventory management and vendor relations.
>Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
>Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
>Comprehensive understanding of food safety, health regulations, and industry standards, with a proven ability to maintain compliance.
>Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
>Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
>Must be able to navigate the campus effectively during events and daily operations.

Expected hours: Expected hours: 35-40 per week, with flexibility to accommodate operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
