Job title: Guest Service Supervisor
We are seeking a full-time Guest Service Supervisor for Castle Resorts Halii Kai at Waikoloa, located in the Waikoloa Beach Resort.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for guest services, safety and security of guests and employees, daily coordination of housekeeping and maintenance operations, collection of reservations deposits & final payments for accommodations as determined by type of reservations.
Interfaces with other company disciplines including Accounting, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Administration and the HOA
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EXPERIENCE: Preferable 2 years hotel guest services and/or operations experience or other customer service experience. Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping, reservations, rooms, housekeeping & maintenance, and operations.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED. Specialized training or exposure to hotel, airline, and/or travel operations desirable.
LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write and interpret correspondence, and reports. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
REASONING ABILITY: Must possess good common sense, reasoning, and judgment ability.
TECHNICAL COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and email usage. Must have a good working knowledge of the internet and web sites.
PAY RATE RANGE: $52,000/year - $55,000K/year
