Kohola Brewery we are premium craft in beer both on and off premise and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Our bustling taproom is at the heart of our operation and were looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a hybrid role combining busser and barback responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities: your next job could include but isn't limited to table maintenance, safety and sanitation compliance, transporting both clean and soiled china, glass and silverwares to and from bar, dining room and kitchen. At the core you will be the primary support for service and bar staff as a liaison to a high functioning FOH team. Communication skills, integrity and the ability to appreciate good beer after work needs to be top priority.
Busser Duties:
Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure a clean and inviting taproom environment.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the taproom, including wiping down surfaces, disposing of trash, and sweeping/mopping floors as needed.
Deliver excellent customer service by proactive service and hospitality. Anticipate guest needs to ensure experience is a primary focus.
Barback Duties:
Support bartenders by restocking/tapping kegged beer, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies during service.
Assist in keg changes and maintaining draft system cleanliness.
Keep the bar area clean and organized by washing glassware and tidying up throughout shifts.
Ensure taproom inventory is stocked, including replenishing merchandise and other essentials with direction from Bar Manager or lead
Requirements:
Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or brewery environment preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and carry up to [50 lbs.] repeatedly (kegs, boxes of glassware, etc.).
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong multitasking skills.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for craft beer and interest in learning more about brewing and beer styles.
