We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is vital in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our valued clients.
Position: Part-Time Prep Cook
Schedule: Fridays to Sundays 
Compensation: $14 - $20 per hour, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook foods requiring longer preparation times.
Ensure completion of daily prep tasks prior to service.
Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs.
Operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use.
Taste products, check production, and maintain records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment. 
Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, adhering to all company and regulatory rules and procedures.
Qualifications:
Must possess a desire to work efficiently and urgently to complete daily tasks.
Must be able to obtain Food Safety Certification within 3 months of hiring.
Valid drivers license helpful
Must have knowledge of proper knife skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs.
