Compensation: $25/hr
Part Time : 1-2 days a week - Tuesday & Thursday, 6-8 hrs/day
Essential job duties:
-Pull orders and deliver wines to various restaurants, fine wine shops, hotels and other locations on island
-Process outgoing shipments via FedEx for mainland & international trade clients. Prepare for inter-island and mainland shipments by air & boat.
-Receive incoming shipments (FedEx, & pallet loads - container load on occasion).
-Maintain a rapport with established customers/buyers
-Maintain warehouse in an organized and efficient manner.
-Maintain company van
Preferred Qualifications:
-Strong organizational/time management and problem-solving skills
-Strong attention to detail and care in handling products
-Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members
-Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet capabilities
-Ability to lift/carry/stack up to 50 lbs repeatedly
-Clean driving record
-Friendly personality, good personal hygiene, professional appearance
-Common sense and a positive attitude
-Basic wine knowledge is a huge plus, but willing to train the right candidate
The work is more about brains than brawn. We are a company that is known for
fine wine & champagne, so we do not deliver to grocery stores, or big box retailers.
We are more focused on fine wines and our customers are fine wine consumers.
