We are seeking an attentive and trustworthy caregivers to join our Ohana staff in providing excellent care to our clients. Our company appreciates their employees and have company picnics, Christmas parties and Employee of the Month to show our appreciation.
The caregiver will plan and follow a daily care schedule with clients, modify care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and report on any new conditions or needs that may arise.
No experience required. We have a strong onboarding education plan and RN oversight for advice.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
Some clients require assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
Ensuring the client’s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place.
Assist with light housework.
Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. Companionship.
Some clients will need mobility assistance; for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.
Some clients will need transporting and/or escorting the client to medical and other appointments.
Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
Caregiver Requirements:
CPR training is required within 30 days of employment.
A driver’s license strongly desired.
2- Step TB test required. This can take 1-2 weeks for result and is required by state before seeing your first client.
Must be able to pass a Background Check.
