Position Summary:
Morning shift 6am - 2:30pm
Afternoon shift: 2pm - 10:30pm
CNA/NA, nursing and pre-medical students with clinical experience welcome.
Ability to work with and relate to patients with substance abuse disorders, including dually diagnosed, co-morbid conditions. Comfortable working with the legally encumbered population
Essential Functions
1. Monitors patients taking of medication and the maintenance of the Medication Log
2. Documentation and maintenance of patient chart and electronic records.
3. Consults with and reports to RN/APRN or Medical Director regarding patient conditions and need of medical attention.
4. Arranges for patient transportation for emergency medical care as directed by medical staff.
5. Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measures vital signs and documents all information in patient’s chart.
6. Provide emergency transportation if necessary
Education/Experience and Training:
1. Current MA Certification preferred.
2. CPR and first aid certified
3. Valid driver’s license with clean abstract preferred
