POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Parts Delivery Dispatcher – Inventory Control position dispatches delivery drivers to customer base efficiently while focusing on safety. The Parts Delivery Dispatcher – Inventory Control position maintains knowledge of all routes for on demand deliveries and scheduled departure times for shuttle drivers. The Parts Delivery Dispatcher – Inventory Control position receives and checks incoming product and stock orders, stocks or re-stocks shelves with product received, performs inventory control functions as directed by manager,

and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly working environment both in store and in warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Schedules and dispatches Driver/Warehouse employees.

2. Ensure customer returns are being written up by drivers daily.

3. Maintains awareness of traffic congestion.

4. Pulls invoices from printer to fill orders and prepare for delivery.

5. When necessary uses company vehicle to deliver parts and equipment to customers in a courteous manner.

6. Maintains knowledge of all delivery driver duties, including defensive driving skills.

7. Assists Store Manager in maintaining clean and safe functioning delivery vehicles.

8. Ensures warehouse is kept clean and in an orderly state.

9. Assists Store Manager with providing Delivery Driver training to new employees.

10. Observes company work and safety rules in the performance of all duties.

11. Participates in safety meetings.

12. Assists Store Manager in staying current with the cycle count inventory schedule.

13. Attends store meetings scheduled by management.

14. Participates in available training as it becomes available.

15. Becomes 100% knowledgeable in the use of the Zebra scanning tool.

16. Takes full responsibility of receiving incoming freight and submitting variances.

17. Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

18. Completes all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

2. Must be at least 18 years old.

3. Must be dependable and punctual.

4. Must be forklift certified or able to be certified within 60 days of hire.

5. Ability to work in a team environment and a positive attitude required.

6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.

7. A valid Drivers’ License with a good driving record required.

8. Must own a cell phone. If eligible, reimbursement will be made according to our Bring Your Own Device program.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Walking: Moves about on foot often up and down stairs.

2. Handling: Seizes, helps, or works with hands.

3. Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous paperwork and equipment parts.

4. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.

5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.

6. Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.

7. Vision: Reads paperwork and records on the computer.

8. Talking: Communicates by phone and in person.

9. Lifting: Up to 60 lbs. daily, frequent exertion.

ENVIRONMENTAL:

1. Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.

2. Temp/Weather: Works in a warehouse environment.
