Job Description:
Join Elite Home Solutions, a locally-based remodeling and handyman service in Kauai, as a Handyman Technician. This role is perfect for someone with foundational handyman skills and the ability to manage small projects independently. You’ll also play a crucial role in setting up and breaking down larger projects, providing essential support during major remodels.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a wide range of handyman tasks independently, such as minor repairs, installations, and maintenance work.
- Manage small projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling setups for larger remodeling projects.
- Support various remodeling activities including carpentry, painting, and basic installations as directed by senior technicians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use tools and equipment responsibly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in handyman services and basic remodeling.
- Ability to work independently and manage small projects with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Smartphone for communication and project management.
- Commitment to a professional appearance and conduct; must wear all black when on duty.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing (Medical Marijuana acceptable).
- Residency in Kauai.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a construction or remodeling setting is highly regarded.
